Every doctor at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic follows in the footsteps of our founder. When Dr. Mavis Kelsey, a fifth-generation Texan, returned to Houston in 1949 from the Mayo Clinic, he envisioned the creation of a premier medical group combining family and internal medicine with the highly focused expertise of specialists in all medical fields.
Today, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic has more than 350 physicians practicing in 50 medical specialties. These doctors choose to practice medicine together in a collaborative group practice rather than in a solo or small group practice.
