Preventive Medicine specialist Brian Arenare, M.D. joined Kelsey-Seybold in 2001. He speaks French, and some Russian, and is certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine and is a certified examiner for the United Kingdom Offshore Operators Association. Dr. Arenare cares for patients at our Main Campus and West Clinic locations.
Professional Background
In 1983, Dr. Arenare graduated from Yale Medical School. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in 1988. In 2000, Dr. Arenare completed an additional residency in Preventive, Occupational and Environmental Medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He holds a MBA from Columbia University and a MPH from The University of Texas School of Public Health at Houston.

Dr. Arenare is an adjunct professor at The University of Texas Medical Branch.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Arenare’s clinical interests include developing advanced ECG techniques for more cost-effective noninvasive screening of heart disease. He holds several patents on novel ECG technology.
