MEET THE DOCTOR
“I consider myself a women’s health advocate and emphasize educations in a patient-centered approach to health care.”
Christina Frome, M.D. joined Kelsey-Seybold in 2008. She cares for her patients at Kelsey-Seybold’s Spring Medical and Diagnostic Center and The Woodlands OB/GYN Clinic. In addition to English, Dr. Frome speaks conversational Spanish.
Professional Background
Dr. Frome graduated from Clemson University in 1998 with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Spanish. She received her doctorate of medicine from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2004. Dr. Frome completed her residency training at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston.
During her residency, Dr. Frome received several honors. For two consecutive years, she was the recipient of the Resident Award in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility as well as the winner of the Outstanding Resident in Gynecologic Oncology.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Frome considers herself a health advocate and emphasizes education in a patient-centered approach to health care. She has special interests in adolescent health, general obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including certification in the use of the DaVinci robot, and menopausal health. Dr. Frome has a special interest in in-office procedures such as endometrial ablation and tubal occlusion.

Dr. Frome is a contributing author to the following publications:
- “Subcuticular closure versus staples with and without steroid injections for cesarean incision cosmesis.” (2005 – 2008).
- “Randomized trial comparing the SYVEK Haemostatic Patch to standard haemostatic compression for early release of outpatients after diagnostic arteriography.” Research Assistant; Dr. Hector Ferrall (2003 – 2004).

Hobbies and Special Interests
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Frome enjoys spending time with her family. She is married and has two sons. While in college, she swam competitively for Clemson University. Dr. Frome continues to be active in swimming, as well as running, cycling and scuba diving.
