Dr. Rumohr joined Kelsey-Seybold in July 2009. He cares for his patients at the Main Campus and Clear Lake Medical Center locations.
Professional Background
Dr. Jon Rumohr went to Hope College in Holland, Michigan for his undergraduate degree in Philosophy, which he completed in 1999. He commenced his medical education at University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan where he was accepted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Rumohr completed an internship in 2004 in General Surgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
In 2008, Dr. Rumohr completed a residency in Urologic Surgery at Vanderbilt prior to coming to Houston’s Baylor College of Medicine for his fellowship in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery.
Academic and Clinical Position
Dr. Rumohr is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at Baylor College of Medicine.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Rumohr’s clinical interests include the following:
- Male-factor infertility: Medical and surgical management. Microsurgical vasectomy reversal, varicocelectomy and surgical sperm retrieval.
- Erectile dysfunction: Medical and surgical management of organic and post-prostatectomy ED. Facilitating post-prostatectomy penile rehabilitation protocols. Medical and surgical management of Peyronie’s disease.
- Hypogonadism: Identification and treatment of men with clinically significant hypogonadism. Focus encompasses sexual and physical effects of hypogonadism and the management of testosterone replacement therapy.
- General Urology: Expertise in female urology and voiding dysfunction, medical and surgical management of urinary lithiasis, robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery (Davinci robot) and surgical treatment of BPH. Prepared to manage the spectrum of urologic malignancies.

In his spare time, Dr. Rumohr enjoys spending time with his wife. An active sports and outdoorsman, he’s an avid cyclist, and loves to swim, fish, scuba dive and ski.
